[Antelope] Matlab-Antelope can't find the mex files

Hello, everyone. I wonder if anyone else has experienced the problem
I'm having, and may be able to offer a solution. I installed Antelope
4.11 on Red Hat Linux, and I'm trying to use the Antelope-Matlab
interface. I've used it successfully on PPC and Intel Macs, and I've
followed the same procedure to set up paths and environment
variables. However, this time when I run a Matlab-Antelope command
(e.g. "dbpf"), I get the error:

"??? Attempt to execute SCRIPT dbpf as a function"

When I type "which dbpf" at the Matlab prompt, it points to the
"dbpf.m" file, instead of the "dbpf.mexglx" file sitting right next to
it. Matlab is not seeing/executing the mex file. This link is all
I've been able to find online about it: http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-1A2ZT.html?solution=1-1A2ZT
, and it didn't really help.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thank you for your time,
Jonathan
